Once upon a time…
I was reading books about God to my little friends. These were tiny people trying to understand a BIG God. I realized that hard words and complicated images were just too much! Maybe, just maybe, I could make a book for them that would tell them about God just the way I might explain Him as we went on hikes, looked out the windows and related to people. The journey of this book began….
In my latest creation, “You Can See Him, Little Eyes Looking at a Big God,” I've prayerfully pursued children's literature with a purpose close to my heart. As a "Nanna Anna," I've drawn from opportunities as an author, speaker, and teacher to tackle the challenge of conveying the profound truths about God to the youngest generation. I've always been fascinated by children, and that's what inspired me to create a story that mixes simple ideas with big truths.
With the help of my talented friend, Jane Lazenby, who brings the story to life with vibrant illustrations, “You Can See Him” aims not only to introduce children to the wonders of God but also to provide parents, educators, and caregivers with a valuable tool for nurturing connection with God and curiosity in the next generation.
“You Can See Him” prompts children to recognize God in everyday experiences, hopefully making God feel relatable and tangible. Though the book is geared towards children, its universal messages have a lasting impact on readers of all ages.
It's my hope that these fifty-six pages will captivate young hearts, instilling in them a belief in the reality of God and spark a desire for a deep, personal connection with Him right from the start.(Reading Age: Birth-7 Years Old)
